Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of workplace, commercial and capital projects across North America. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, change management and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams, stakeholders and external cost consultants, with experience in tenant improvement, renovation or related capital projects

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
• Experience budgeting, forecasting, cost reporting across multiple projects.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.
• RICS accreditation is a plus; strong procurement and value engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare final cost plan and present estimates.
• Review design services and GC cost estimates for accuracy.
• Coordinate all cost information and update project teams on status.
• Prepare monthly cost reports and support post-contract variances.
• Mentor and coach talent to realise potential and drive costs across projects.
