Job summary

Linesight in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead tender analyses, cost planning, and pre-contract cost management. You will ensure value for money, manage change forms, and produce cost reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-contract cost management with budget control, cost planning, and change form initiation.
• Chartered status or on the path to it, with support to achieve.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in tender/bid processes from documentation through reporting.
• Manage the change management process and implement changes affecting project cost.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in final accounts, including handling claims for best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variations clearly.
• Support project management through cost documentation and timely updates.
• Foster mentorship and leadership to grow the team.
