Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager for our Dallas-based team. You will lead pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning, while guiding change processes and evaluating tenders to maximize client value.

You will oversee cost reporting, prepare final accounts, and mentor team members to foster growth. A consultancy background and strong communication are preferred for success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, ideally from a consultancy background.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control and cost planning.
• Knowledge of change forms and discussions with project stakeholders.
• Chartered or on the path to chartership, company support available.
• Degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage the change management process affecting project cost.
• Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in final accounts and claims to secure best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports.
• Communicate variations clearly to the team.
• Support settlement of disputes with transparent cost data.
• Mentor and lead team development and performance.
