Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Cost Manager, preferably from a consultancy background.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control and cost planning.
• Ability to prepare and initiate change forms with project stakeholders.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials and value-for-money analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to lead and mentor.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in tendering, analysis and reporting processes.
• Manage change management processes and communicate variances clearly.
• Analyse tenders to ensure client value for money and accuracy of costs.
• Assist in final accounts and claims to secure best value for client.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variances.
• Support project decisions with rigorous cost documentation.
• Assist in settlements of disputes with transparency.
