Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm seeking an Associate Director, Cost Management and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management across complex projects from our San Francisco office. The role requires strong leadership, client engagement, and proven cost management delivery in real estate, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.

The base salary range is $160K–$180K USD, with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
• SME in Quantity Surveying and RICS certified or equivalent accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of cost management services across a portfolio of client accounts and capital projects.
• Interface with the client, stakeholders and consultants at all project stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report on overall commercial status and drive best practice in cost management and project controls.
• Coach and mentor talent, grow client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and ensure consistent delivery across engagements.
