Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Columbus, Ohio seeks an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for a major capital campus development. You will provide strategic commercial leadership and manage key stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

The role is primarily site-based with regular on-site presence at the project site in Miami County, Ohio, about 80 minutes from Columbus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred.
• Experience on medium to large projects with high complexity.
• Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, technology, industrial, or commercial projects preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management team and ensure delivery of accountabilities.
• Interface with client, stakeholders, and consultants at all stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management.
• Coordinate with general contractor, owner’s representatives and other parties.
• Report on overall commercial status of projects and drive best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve procedures, templates and processes.
• Mentor and develop team members.
