Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years in cost management within construction.
• RICS accreditation preferred or in progress.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide cost planning and present final cost plans.
• Review with design and general contractor teams to develop cost estimates.
• Reconcile changes and ensure contractor data accuracy.
• Prepare cost estimate updates and executive summaries.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and update at milestones.
• Lead value engineering and input into optioneering.
• Manage cost checks, valuations, and post‑contract variances.
