Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for a large life sciences and manufacturing program. You will act as the key client interface, delivering cost management services and ensuring objectives are met across complex capital projects.

The role requires strong communication, client-facing leadership, and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in cost management for construction.
• Experience supporting life sciences, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, industrial, or technically complex projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare cost plans and estimates through design phases and milestones.
• Lead cost management on large, complex projects and mentor junior staff.
• Provide commercial input to value engineering and optioneering with stakeholders.
