Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of complex Life Sciences construction projects. Acting as the key day-to-day client interface, you will ensure client objectives are achieved through a value-added cost management service across manufacturing, laboratory, R&D, and related capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation or working toward it preferred.
• Experience on medium to high complexity projects; consultancy background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimating and negotiating change orders during the construction lifecycle.
• Prepare and present final cost plans with design teams and GCs.
• Coordinate cost information from NPAs, subs, and A/Es for cost discussions.
• Lead post-contract cost variances and change control processes.
• Produce monthly cost reports and ensure timely final accounts.
