Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support complex Life Sciences construction projects. You will act as the key day-to-day client interface, delivering a cost management service across manufacturing, laboratory, and R&D facilities.

The role requires strong cost estimation, negotiation, and leadership skills, with experience leading cost management on medium to large projects and working closely with design teams and general contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management and value engineering.

Responsabilités

• Estimating and negotiating change orders throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Provide estimate and cost planning, including presenting final cost plan.
• Review cost estimates with design services team and general contractor.
• Reconcile changes and ensure data accuracy for contractor submissions.
• Coordinate cost information from NPA, subs, and design teams.
• Prepare funding data presentations and coordinate VE sessions with stakeholders.
• Develop cost plans through design phases and deliver updated plans at milestones.
• Review contractor pricing and lead negotiations to secure fair prices.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management across the project lifecycle.
• Produce monthly cost reports for client presentation and ensure final accounts are negotiated timely.
