Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of workplace, commercial, and capital improvement projects across North America. The role covers budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, change management, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of cost management experience, strong communication, and knowledge of procurement, value engineering, and post‑contract cost processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction/cost management or related field.
• 7+ years experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
• Experience with budgets, forecasts, cost reporting and financial controls.
• RICS accreditation a plus; knowledge of procurement and value engineering.

Responsibilities

• Estimate and negotiate change orders across the construction lifecycle.
• Develop cost plans and estimates through design milestones.
• Review cost estimates with design teams and contractors.
• Coordinate cost information for discussions and decision making.
• Prepare cost reports and support post‑contract cost variances and valuations.
• Manage cost checks, contingency tracking and funding data presentations.
• Lead cost management across multiple concurrent projects.
