Job summary

Accenture Construct in the United States seeks a Senior Commercial Manager for major data center programs. You will lead cost trend management, protect the client financially, and drive cost reporting from design through handover.

You’ll chair CTM meetings, coordinate with EPC teams, and ensure baseline estimates and CTM data integration are accurate, with a focus on transparency and accountability across large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Commercial Management, Quantity Surveying or related field AND 5+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of experience managing the estimating or commercials on a major construction portfolio
• 5+ years of experience of commercial management during pre-construction of major construction projects

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-ground commercial management support to protect client financially and contractually across data center projects
• Manage and report on all commercial issues to maintain transparency and accountability
• Lead the Cost Trend Management (CTM) process by identifying scope changes, market shifts, and risks impacting budgets
• Ensure EPC teams understand baseline estimates, including scope, cost, and execution assumptions
• Set up cost reporting at design kick-off with accurate budget breakdowns and CTM data integration
• Chair bi-weekly CTM meetings with stakeholders and document minutes
• Update the CTM log to reflect cost changes and review stages
• Participate in design reviews to track cost changes from concept to final design
• Capture and log client-driven changes for CTM review and approval
• Support cost estimation, QA cost trend reports, and improve CTM tools and processes
• Flexible: work location will include a mix of remote, onsite at client, or Accenture office/center
