Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Lead Consultant in cost management to drive estimates, value engineering and cost control for large-scale capital projects across clients in the US.

You'll lead cost plans, manage risk, and collaborate with design, engineering and project teams to optimize lifecycle costs while maintaining rigorous documentation and reporting standards. Flexible, hybrid work with in-person client engagements and office days is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in cost/ construction fields.
• Lead Consultant: 7+ years of cost management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans using benchmarking data.
• Develop value engineering and life cycle costing options.
• Identify risks and maintain the Risk Register.
• Contribute to pre-contract meetings with cost insights.
• Create and manage cost control reports.
• Attend client meetings and document actions.
• Participate in design meetings and apply cost implications.
• Develop standardized project templates for docs.
• Prepare and manage change orders and detailed cost reports.
• Oversee measurements and pricing research for appraisals.
• Flexible work location mix of remote/on-site/office, with collaboration time.
• Support work-life balance and stakeholder engagement.
