Job summary

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects seeks a Lead Cost Manager to drive cost plans, value engineering, and risk management for complex capital projects, including data centers. You will prepare cost estimates, support pre-contract discussions, and deliver accurate cost reporting while collaborating with design, procurement, and client teams.

The role requires deep cost management expertise, 7+ years in the field, and strong proficiency with CostX and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent - in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Data Analytics or another cost / construction focused.
• Lead Consultant: 7+ years of cost management experience.
• Experience working in hyper-scale data centers is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of construction processes, techniques, materials.
• Proficient in CostX for estimates and bills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost plans with benchmarking data.
• Develop value engineering and life cycle costing options.
• Identify risks and maintain the project’s Risk Register.
• Contribute to pre-contract meetings with cost insights.
• Create and manage cost control reports to track financials.
• Attend client meetings and document discussions and actions.
• Participate in design meetings and assess cost implications.
• Develop standardized templates for consistent documentation.
• Prepare and manage change order logs, invoices, and cost reports.
• Oversee measurements and pricing research for appraisals.
