Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Cost Controls Analyst, Principal Specialist to support the Tomahawk Recertification program. The role focuses on earned value requirements, financial analysis, forecasting, and cost controls, partnering with Program Management to sustain cost and schedule performance on a high-visibility program with future acceleration efforts.

The candidate will prepare cost and schedule reporting, develop EAC/LRE, and collaborate across Engineering, Operations, Contracts, and PMO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in program cost controls, FP&A, or related roles.
• Advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost and schedule financial reporting, variance, and performance analyses.
• Develop Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) with PM and program teams.
• Maintain Budget and EAC records and tracking.
• Provide financial guidance across Engineering, Operations, Contracts, Supply Chain, and PMO.
• Communicate forecast commitments and risk/opportunity plans to leadership.
• Review EAC inputs, presentations, proposals for accuracy and completeness.
• Review EVM, funding, and monthly status report CDLRs; assist EVMS reporting.
• Collaborate with team members on Earned Value Management reporting and analysis.
