Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior-Level Cost Control Analyst to support construction and engineering projects from planning through execution. You will partner with project managers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting that drives strong project outcomes.

The role requires 15+ years in project controls with cost management focus, EVMS experience preferred, and travel for on‑site support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 15+ years of experience in project controls with emphasis on cost management.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, field operations, and pay applications.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to present cost insights clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional project environments.
• Willingness to travel for periodic on‑site project support.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup, monitoring, and updates of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage budget development, revisions, tracking scope changes and forecast reporting.
• Maintain data within cost management systems and tools.
• Analyze cost and revenue performance and advise project leadership.
• Review contractor cost submissions and pay applications for accuracy.
• Track and report construction progress using EVM principles.
• Coordinate with contractors to gather weekly progress updates and upload data.
• Collaborate daily with project controls, construction teams, and vendors.
