Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Mid-Level Cost Control Analyst to join our Project Controls team, supporting construction and engineering projects from planning through execution. You will work with project managers, construction teams, and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting and reporting that drives strong outcomes.

You should bring 5–7 years of cost-focused project controls experience, EVMS familiarity, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–7 years of experience in project controls with emphasis on cost management.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, field operations, and pay application processes.
• EVMS experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to present cost insights clearly.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional project environments.
• Willingness to travel for periodic on-site project support.
• Proficiency with cost and scheduling tools such as Oracle, EcoSys, Unifier, Primavera P6, MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead setup and updates of project cost and progress metrics.
• Manage budget development, revisions, changes, and forecasting reporting.
• Keep data accurate in cost management systems and tools.
• Analyze cost and revenue and advise project leadership.
• Review contractor cost submissions and pay apps for accuracy.
• Track and report construction progress using EVM principles.
• Coordinate weekly progress updates with contractors and upload data.
• Collaborate daily with project controls, construction teams, and vendors.
