Accenture Construct seeks a senior cost analyst to drive cost modeling, earned value, and forecasting for major programs. You will work onsite with client teams to analyze scope changes, monitor budgets, and provide data-driven insights using Cognos, Power BI, and Maximo.

You will engage across program management, financial controls, and risk analysis, contributing to governance reviews and cost engineering standards. This role reports to the Cost Management team and supports multiple projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• Direct cost analysis experience on Utility New Gas Power Plant project or large ($300M+) Process Industry projects
• Sr. PCA: 6+ yrs experience
• Understanding of commercial agreements and contracting strategies
• Understanding of project schedule impact on cost forecasting and integration of schedule in cost
• Proficient and expert experience level in Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, Power Plan, and Microsoft Office

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain cost models, perform scenario analysis, and prepare cash flow estimates for monthly PE process.
• Analyze cost and schedule impacts of scope changes and trends, presenting numerical analyses clearly.
• Monitor and update project budgets and actuals, provide cost reporting and trend analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
• Interface with internal and external project teams to support cost control and reporting.
• Provide cost management by identifying gaps and improving data standards, tracking monthly spend for earned value and forecast.
• Perform forensic analysis on project spend and forecasts to ensure budget adherence.
• Lead or assist in developing and maintaining the Issue and Risk Register and Cost QRAs.
• Utilize Cognos, Power BI, Maximo, and Power Plan for analyses and data-driven presentations.
• Demonstrate strong documentation and organizational skills to meet ROD requirements and PSC filings.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety through participation in safety meetings and field observations.
