Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior Cost Manager to lead major client relationships and drive Cost Management programs across data center builds. The role combines strategic budgeting, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional leadership to deliver profitable, high-quality outcomes.

You will guide capital planning, procurement, and risk management while expanding service offerings and maintaining client satisfaction. Flexibility includes remote, onsite, or hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Cost Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity supporting data center builds
• Certifications (preferred): MRICS, CCP, PMP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• You’ll serve as the primary client relationship lead, managing major accounts and ensuring exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction.
• You’ll drive account growth through client retention, business development, cross-selling, and expansion of service offerings.
• You’ll lead client presentations, commercial negotiations, and the development and management of fee proposals and contracts.
• You’ll identify and pursue new opportunities to expand Cost Management services across existing and prospective clients.
• You’ll oversee financial performance, including revenue forecasting, margin management, accounts receivable, and overall profitability.
• You’ll provide strategic guidance on cost control, capital planning, procurement, commercial management, and risk mitigation for complex projects. You’ll deliver value engineering and cost-saving solutions that optimize project outcomes while maintaining quality, schedule, and performance standards.
• You’ll build, lead, and develop high-performing teams while driving operational excellence through KPI management, continuous improvement, and quality assurance initiatives.
