Acara Solutions is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant in Leander, TX to lead cost and inventory functions within the accounting team. The role supports month-end close, budgeting, and decision-support analyses, partnering with FP&A and Engineering to assess cost drivers and BOM accuracy.

The position offers direct hire status with excellent benefits and a compensation range of $140,000–$150,000 per year, plus 40-hour weeks.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or R&D accounting experience.
• CPA/MBA preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage manufacturing cost accounting activities including month-end close, cost maintenance, overhead absorption, and inventory tracking.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to understand drivers and costs.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and improve profitability through overhead/burden optimization.
• Coordinate with inventory control and internal audit to improve cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
• Support ERP system enhancements and ensure cost data integrity across manufacturing processes.
