The position supports monthly closes, journal entries, and internal controls, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements across costing and inventory functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of accounting experience in cost/inventory accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, reconciliations, variances, and COGS.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor product costing, standard costs, BOMs, labor and overhead rates.
• Analyze manufacturing and inventory transactions to ensure cost accuracy and valuation.
• Prepare and analyze variances (price, labor, overhead, scrap, usage) and report drivers.
• Support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and audits.
