Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing and/or R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing cost accounting activities including month-end close and cost maintenance.
• Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and freight/duty tracking.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to understand costs and processes.
• Develop and improve accounting processes with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to reduce labor and overhead costs and improve profitability.
• Partner with Inventory Control and Internal Audit to improve cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Perform detailed variance analysis including price variances and WO variances.
• Ensure ERP data accuracy through audits and coordination with departments.
• Lead ERP process enhancements to support scalable growth.
• Work with FP&A to model budgets, forecasts, and cost drivers.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and financial impact of cost-reduction initiatives.
• Maintain process integrity across manufacturing, intercompany, and inventory functions.
• Prepare accounting schedules for internal/external reporting.
• Support monthly budget-versus-actual analyses and audits.
• Build relationships with business partners and accounting peers for financial reporting.
