Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, plant accounting, or inventory accounting.
• Understanding of inventory valuation, cost allocations, and manufacturing variances.
• Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate financial information to operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze standard costing, actual costing, or other applicable product-costing methodologies.
• Monitor raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods costs.
• Analyze labor, material, overhead, and production variances.
• Support inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and valuation.
• Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, and operational financial reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Analyze manufacturing efficiency, scrap, waste, and production expenses.
• Partner with plant management and operations to identify cost trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support annual budgets, forecasts, and cost updates.
