Jobot is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to own cost visibility and financial performance at a key production site in Wisconsin. This role partners with operations leadership to drive smarter decisions and improve profitability across materials, labor and overhead.

You will own the month-end close, analyze variances, and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with strong financial modeling. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Experience in a plant or production environment.
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis.
• ERP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own the month-end close process for a manufacturing site, ensuring accurate reporting across materials, labor, and overhead.
• Dive into variances (PPV, material, labor, overhead) and drive real solutions, not just reporting.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and leadership to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Improve costing structures, standards, and assumptions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with financial modeling.
• Lead profitability analysis and CapEx evaluations to guide decisions.
• Build and maintain cost models, pricing inputs, and operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

What They’re Looking For

• 5–10 years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance
• Strong experience in a plant or production environment
• Hands-on ownership of month-end close and variance analysis
• ERP system experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Someone who can work independently but also influence across teams
