Salary

$110,000 – $140,000 per year

Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to serve as a key partner to the Controller and finance leadership team. This role is deeply embedded in the manufacturing accounting function and will play a hands‑on role in month‑end close, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, and process improvement initiatives. The right person will be comfortable operating in a partially manual environment while helping move the organization toward more automated, scalable processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute inventory, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting for manufacturing operations
• Lead month‑end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, production, and manufacturing costs
• Partner cross‑functionally with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing leadership
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with process improvements, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives
• Provide analysis and insights to support leadership decision‑making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 6+ years of accounting experience with strong exposure to manufacturing environments
• Deep experience with inventory accounting, cost accounting, and fixed assets
• ERP experience required (manufacturing ERPs strongly preferred)
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross‑functionally
• Comfortable in environments undergoing change and modernization
