Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an experienced Senior Workout Specialist to restructure large corporate loans, including bilateral and syndicated credits, and to drive strategies that maximize recoveries.

You will mentor junior staff, present recommendations to Senior Management, and stay current with insolvency, creditor remedies, and related laws while working from a U.S. Bank location several days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• 10–15 years of workout experience with middle market and large corporate loans.
• Experience with syndicated credits and agency roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restructure large and complex corporate and commercial problem loans.
• Analyze loans and determine strategies: restructurings, forbearances, bankruptcies.
• Negotiate repayment agreements with borrowers and monitor adherence.
• Lead discussions with participant lenders and key stakeholders.
• Mentor junior workout professionals and advise internal partners on recovery opportunities.
• Present credits and action plans to Senior Management.
