Job summary

U.S. Bank in Charlotte seeks an experienced workout professional to restructure large and complex corporate and commercial loans. You will independently analyze loans, determine strategies (restructures, forbearances, bankruptcies), and negotiate repayment terms with borrowers to secure recoveries.

This role requires leadership, mentoring junior staff, presenting to senior management, and staying current on insolvency and creditor remedies. The position is onsite at a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.
• 10–15 years of workout experience with middle market and large corporate loans.
• Experience with syndicated credits and loan enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Restructure large and complex corporate and commercial loans.
• Analyze loans and determine the most effective strategy (restructurings, forbearances, bankruptcies, etc.).
• Negotiate repayment agreements with borrowers and monitor adherence to terms.
• Manage bilateral and syndicated credits and coordinate workout strategies with lenders, borrowers, and stakeholders.
• Serve as Agent for syndicated facilities and lead lender group negotiations.
• Identify recovery opportunities and formulate loss mitigation strategies.
• Present complex credits and action plans to Senior Management.
• Provide consultation on early identification and evaluation of deteriorating loan situations to minimize losses.
• Maintain knowledge of insolvency, bankruptcy, and creditor remedies.
• Mentor junior workout professionals.
