Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate payroll processing experience
• Experience with multi-state payroll
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws
• Proficient with payroll software and MS Excel
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll for a large employee base, including data entry, calculations, and verification of timecards, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll elements
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including all deductions, taxes, and garnishments, with strict confidentiality
• Review and reconcile payroll reports and provide accurate payroll reports to HR and finance
• Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT to streamline payroll processes and implement improvements
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation
