Sinclair, Inc. is seeking a Corporate Payroll Specialist in Maryland to manage payroll for a large employee base in a multi‑state environment. You will ensure timely, accurate processing, handle deductions, taxes, and compliance while maintaining strict confidentiality.

The role requires CPP or FPC certification and at least 3 years of corporate payroll experience, with strong Excel and payroll software skills, and excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• FPC or CPP certification required.
• 3+ years of corporate payroll processing experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state/local payroll laws and compliance.
• Proficient with payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and accuracy; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage payroll for a large employee base, including data entry, calculations, and verification of timecards, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll elements.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, including deductions, taxes, and garnishments, with confidentiality.
• Review and reconcile payroll reports, resolve discrepancies, and provide payroll reports to HR and finance.
• Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT to streamline processes and implement improvements.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain up-to-date payroll records including employee information and tax forms.
