Job summary

City Harvest in New York is seeking an accomplished fundraiser to serve as Officer, Business Partnerships. You will manage a portfolio of corporate donors, lead strategic partnerships, and drive six- and seven-figure gifts while mentoring the team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of corporate fundraising experience, strong leadership, and the ability to develop innovative strategies that grow revenue and brand engagement across City Harvest’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of corporate fundraising or business development experience with a proven track record of securing six- and seven- figure corporate partnerships.
• Experience leading or mentoring staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Proven ability to identify, cultivate, solicit, negotiate, and steward corporate donors.
• Experience developing fundraising plans, setting revenue goals, and analyzing performance.
• Strong proposal, sponsorship package, and donor communications writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a portfolio of corporate donors and prospects, securing new and renewed investments to meet revenue goals.
• Develop and execute fundraising strategies to increase corporate giving and multi-year support.
• Identify and cultivate new corporate prospects to build a robust partnerships pipeline.
• Directly manage and mentor Business Partnerships team members to drive growth.
• Collaborate on sponsorship proposals, cause marketing campaigns, and partnership opportunities.
• Oversee the holiday campaign to secure sponsorships and increase corporate participation.
• Develop meaningful donor engagement opportunities to deepen relationships.
• Support additional fundraising initiatives as needed.
