Thomson Reuters’ Practical Law Corporate and M&A team in the United States seeks a Senior Specialist Legal Editor with cross-border Corporate law experience to create and maintain content and to support AI-powered solutions. You will work with product, sales, and technology teams to reflect current market practice.

Requirements: JD and 8+ years as a Corporate/M&A lawyer; strong writing skills; collaboration across jurisdictions; experience using AI tools in legal work.

Qualifications

• JD with license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
• 8+ years as Corporate/M&A lawyer in law firm or in-house.
• Experience advising on cross-border M&A, governance, JVs, and investments.
• Strong writing skills and ability to convey complex law clearly.

Responsibilities

• Research, write and maintain clear, current legal content aligned with market practice.
• Review and edit content written by others and external contributors.
• Stay updated on legal developments to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Support development of AI-powered Thomson Reuters legal solutions.
• Collaborate with product, sales, marketing and tech teams as needed.
• Build relationships with lawyers and industry groups.
