Job summary

Amex GBT in the United States is seeking an experienced events professional to plan and lead corporate meetings from kickoff to reconciliation, including onsite execution. You will manage budgets up to $500,000, coordinate hotels, venues, travel and AV, and work with Attendee Experience Coordinators to ensure flawless attendee communications and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Four or more years planning corporate meetings and events.
• Onsite lead on ten or more programs annually.
• Budget management up to $500,000 with forecasts and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of hotel and supplier contracts and related costs (attrition, minimums, overtime, changes).
• Experience with enterprise project tools and client environments (e.g., Cvent).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver programs end to end with the producer, from kickoff through onsite execution and close.
• Maintain program plans in client tools with tasks, owners, and dates readable by producer and client.
• Build and manage budgets up to $500,000 and reconcile through final invoices.
• Manage hotels, venues, transportation, F&B, and AV within client procurement rules.
• Lead onsite staffing, run of show, and supplier management as directed by the producer.
• Close programs on time with invoices, budget reconciliation, and debriefs.
