Job summary

Coinbase is a remote-first company seeking a Manager on the Corporate Development team to shape Coinbase's inorganic growth by leading the execution of M&A transactions, strategic investments, and market landscaping efforts. You will collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to identify and execute opportunities that advance Coinbase's mission.

This role focuses on end-to-end deal execution, competitive intelligence, and building relationships across the crypto ecosystem

Qualifications

• 6–8 years in investment banking, consulting, corporate development, private equity, or venture capital.
• Proven end-to-end M&A or strategic investment experience with modeling and due diligence.
• Ability to translate market data into strategic recommendations for executives.
• BA/BS with interest in crypto, blockchain, and digital assets.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to improve outputs and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments, including sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and integration planning with senior team members.
• Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic recommendations shaping company and product direction.
• Develop competitive intelligence on key players and translate insights into actionable implications for Coinbase.
• Partner with senior team members to build cross-functional relationships with executives and drive high-priority strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with startups, investors, and industry participants to surface opportunities and stay ahead of market developments.
• Strengthen Corporate Development team operations by improving processes and helping recruit and develop new team members.
