Job summary

Meritum Energy Holdings seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal guidance across MEH brands, focusing on commercial contracts and multi-state claims management.

You will draft and negotiate MSAs and energy/service contracts, supervise outside counsel, and partner with Risk, Safety, and Operations to reduce exposure. Texas bar admission and 5–8 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, with MSAs and energy/service contracts.
• Experience with indemnity provisions, additional insured requirements, liability limits, and insurance provisions.
• Proven ability to manage auto/general liability and workers' compensation claims and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, transportation agreements, and energy/service contracts across MEH brands.
• Manage auto/general liability and workers' compensation claims; direct outside counsel and adjusters as needed.
• Coordinate with Risk Management, Safety, and Operations to reduce exposure and costs.
