Job summary

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction in good standing.
• Virginia Corporate Counsel registration may be required.
• 5–10+ years of in-house or law firm experience in commercial/government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Own contract intake, legal review, redlines, internal alignment, approvals, and signature.
• Lead negotiations and drive execution across prime contracts, subcontracts, vendor agreements, and RFP terms.
• Provide day-to-day legal guidance and develop internal contracting policies and playbooks.
• Collaborate with sales, project teams, finance, risk/insurance, and outside counsel as needed.
