Meritum Energy Holdings seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to provide legal support across the company and affiliated brands, focusing on commercial contracts and claims management for a multi-state fleet. You will draft MSAs, transportation and energy contracts, and coordinate with risk and operations to reduce exposure.

Requires a JD and Texas license with 5–8 years in commercial contracts and insurance defense; experience managing outside counsel and legal spend is essential.

Competenze

• Juris Doctor and active Texas law license required.
• 5–8 years in commercial contracts and insurance defense preferred.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment capabilities.

Mansioni

• Draft, review, and negotiate MSAs, transportation and energy/service contracts.
• Manage outside defense counsel and control legal spend.
• Handle auto/general liability and workers' compensation claims lifecycle.
• Coordinate with risk, safety, and operations leadership to reduce exposure.
• Escalate significant risks to CEO and assist with litigation strategy.
