iSuite L.L.C. in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Corporate Counsel to lead contract negotiations, manage claims, and mitigate risk across construction and design projects.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., bar admission in at least one state, 5+ years of in-house and litigation experience, and is proficient in drafting complex contracts, dispute resolution, and coordination with executives. • Experience with litigation/arbitration/mediation procedures.
• Ability to communicate risk to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and negotiate complex subcontracts, subconsultant agreements, vendor agreements, and software licenses.
• Evaluate projects based on risk in collaboration with business development.
• Serve as primary legal contact for project disputes and manage resolution through mediation, arbitration, or litigation.
• Retain and manage outside counsel for active dispute matters.
• Support governance, insurance, and risk management strategy.
• Base Salary: $180,000 - $210,000 per year.
