Job summary

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our Legal team at the Granite City, IL office. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of legal experience, with both in‑house and litigation experience preferred, and construction experience is a plus.

The role focuses on contract negotiation, claims management, and coordinating with leadership on risk decisions. You will review complex subcontracts, manage disputes, and work with outside counsel to protect the company’s interests throughout project

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate required and licensed to practice in one or more states.
• At least 5+ years of legal experience, with in‑house and litigation exposure preferred.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review, edit, and negotiate complex subcontracts with general contractors and subconsultants.
• Coordinate with BD and project teams to evaluate potential projects based on risk.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and mitigate contractual risks.
• Serve as legal contact for disputes and drive resolution with project teams.
• Manage outside counsel and support dispute resolution processes.
• Provide guidance on licensing, governance, insurance, and risk strategy.
• Educate the organization on legal priorities.
