Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Bar membership in Virginia or as Virginia corporate counsel required.
• At least eight years of litigation experience, with more preferred.
• Experience litigating complex commercial matters.
• Proven ability to develop and execute litigation strategy.
• Excellent written and oral communications, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, risk assessment and negotiation skills.
• Highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to balance multiple, competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance.

Aufgaben

• Lead complex, significant litigation and disputes matters, including overall case strategy and supervision of outside counsel.
• Proactively assess, manage, and mitigate risk across an active docket.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide practical legal advice and develop corrective actions.
• Brief senior management on matters involving significant legal exposure or risk to the Company.
• Develop and manage legal budgets.
