Job summary

The role reports to the Assistant General Counsel and Director, Litigation, and emphasizes judgment, intellectual curiosity, and collaboration with cross-functional partners. You will manage complex cases, supervise outside counsel, and develop budgets while advising senior management on significant exposures.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Ability to become member of Virginia Bar or licensed Virginia corporate counsel.
• At least eight years of litigation experience, with more preferred.
• Experience litigating complex commercial matters.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex litigation and disputes, overseeing case strategy and outside counsel.
• Assess and mitigate risk across an active docket.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide practical legal advice and corrective actions.
• Brief senior management on matters with significant exposure or risk.
• Develop and manage legal budgets.
