Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support Mission Systems. The role involves advising on U.S. Government and commercial contracts, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring compliance across departments. Ideal candidates hold a JD and bar membership with 10+ years of related experience.

The position may be located in Linthicum, MD or Falls Church, VA or McLean, VA. Relocation assistance may be available and a Secret level clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate and active state bar membership are required.
• At least 10 years of relevant U.S. Government contracting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Experience with government and commercial contracting in law firm, agency, or in-house.
• Ability to analyze complex legal concepts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Counsel on pursuit, capture, negotiation, execution and administration of U.S. Government and commercial prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Advise and coordinate with business and legal specialists on IP, environment, safety, real estate, HR, investigations, supply chain, export/import, litigation, and labor relations.
