Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting is required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including 2–4 years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all aspects of the Company’s accounting function, including general ledger, revenue recognition, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial statement preparation.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare, review, and present monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Operate in a lean environment performing hands-on tasks and backing up staff as needed.
• Lead and/or execute all SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and related disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and all applicable reporting requirements.
• Maintain compliance with SOX Section 404(a) including ICFR design, documentation, testing, and evaluation.
• Act as primary point of contact for external auditors and manage the external audit process.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax compliance and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Manage treasury activities including cash management, forecasting, liquidity, and working capital optimization.
• Provide financial analysis for capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop ad hoc financial models to support strategic initiatives.
