Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead the accounting function, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and manage multi-entity financial reporting. You will oversee general ledger, close processes, consolidations, and internal controls while partnering with senior leadership on accounting strategy and operational performance.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience in complex environments, SEC reporting, and strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
Active CPA License.
Experience in corporate controller roles with consolidated financial reporting, books-and-records integrity, and internal control over financial reporting.
Expert knowledge of GAAP or IFRS, accounting policies, and financial statement prep.
Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit requirements, and financial documentation.

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Lead close processes: monthly, quarterly, annual; manage journals and accruals.
Direct consolidation work, intercompany eliminations, and external reporting packages.
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS, SOX controls, and internal policies.
Partner with executives on accounting strategy and data integrity.
