Job summary

Gold Medal Environmental is seeking a Senior Corporate Controller to lead the accounting functions for its multi-entity environment. You will oversee general ledger, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, treasury, and financial reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls across locations.

The role partners with the CFO to drive financial discipline, improve processes, and support acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5 years of accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end close processes.
• Experience managing accounting functions in a multi-entity, multi-location organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all corporate accounting functions including GL, AP, AR, billing and payroll, fixed assets, treasury, and reporting.
• Maintain integrity of financial statements and balance sheet.
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Ensure consistent accounting practices across multiple operating companies and locations.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff and leadership positions.
• Directly supervise payroll administration, billing and collections, and AP staff.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Ensure timely reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Develop management reporting packages and KPI metrics.
