Job summary

Gold Medal Environmental seeks a Corporate Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance across multiple entities including Patriot Disposal and Apple Valley Waste. This senior role reports to the CFO and drives scalable processes and strong financial discipline.

You will oversee general ledger, close cycles, payroll, tax support, and multi‑state compliance, while partnering with operations and treasury to optimize cash flow and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience in a multi-entity organization.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all corporate accounting functions and financial reporting.
• Maintain integrity of statements, balance sheet, and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings with external advisors.
• Drive process improvements for scalability across locations and acquisitions.
• Partner with CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and covenant compliance.
