Job summary

Pcgrecruit seeks an Assistant Corporate Controller to join the North American finance leadership team. You will lead the corporate accounting function, oversee AP, ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, and coordinate the annual external audit with external auditors.

You will collaborate with regional finance teams and executives to standardize processes across the organization and progressively assume additional responsibilities as part of a structured development plan.

Qualifications

• CPA license required.
• 7+ years of GAAP experience.
• Experience with consolidated financial reporting.
• Experience supervising an accounting team.
• Multi-entity and multi-location experience.
• Experience as an auditor in public accounting or overseeing external audit.
• Big 4 or National CPA firm experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP systems understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the corporate accounting team with direction, coaching, and performance management.
• Manage day-to-day corporate accounting operations and ensure timely execution.
• Drive standardization and consistency across accounting processes.
• Own and improve monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Oversee intercompany, lease, hedge and debt accounting.
• Support consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity coordination.
• Lead the annual external audit and liaise with auditors.
