Gold Medal Environmental seeks a senior Corporate Controller based in Charles Town, WV, to lead all corporate accounting functions across multiple entities. You will own financial reporting accuracy, internal controls, and close processes while driving scalable accounting practices.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership and strategic focus to support growth, acquisitions, and strong financial discipline across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading month-end and year-end closes.
• Experience managing accounting in multi-entity, multi-location settings.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting systems proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead and oversee all corporate accounting functions.
• Maintain integrity of financial statements and balance sheet.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies and internal controls.
• Ensure consistent practices across locations and entities.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and consolidations.
• Support planning, budgeting, and reporting for executive decisions.
• Lead and develop accounting staff and payroll/billing teams.
• Collaborate on acquisition integration and strategic initiatives.
