Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dynamic Catering Sales professional to drive corporate and social events. You will meet clients, tour properties, promote services, and build persuasive proposals that convert opportunities into contracts.

Responsibilities include developing menus, writing contracts, coordinating event logistics, and supervising setup. You’ll liaise with departments to ensure flawless service and deliver regular sales reports to management.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Food and Beverage etiquette, guest relations and service standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to assess client needs, negotiate pricing and provide overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet with or call corporate clients to solicit business on weekdays and weekends.
• Interview, train, and resolve problems for newly hired catering associates; maintain open communication.
• Meet and greet clients, conduct property tours, and promote Crescent facilities and services.
• Answer client inquiries and develop persuasive verbal sales presentations.
• Develop client menus, write contracts and letters, and organize all event arrangements.
• Supervise and attend the setup and execution of events and meetings.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure proper servicing of accounts.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly Catering/Sales reports.
