Job summary

Nicolet National Bank is seeking a Corporate Accounting Senior Manager to direct daily corporate accounting operations and develop the team. You will oversee month-end close, reconciliations, and policy maintenance while supporting system implementations and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and adherence to GAAP and internal controls, with opportunities to contribute to M&A activities and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration required.
• Seven years of increasingly responsible accounting and supervisory experience.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools and computers.
• Strong leadership and change-management abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse teams and backgrounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the month-end close process.
• Oversee the month-end reconciliation process.
• Review work of associates, including analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Lead corporate accounting initiatives, such as system implementations.
• Hire and develop corporate accounting team members.
• Manage and empower associates to achieve departmental objectives.
• Maintain accounting policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in M&A due diligence and integration activities.
