Job summary

• Lead and support the accounting team through month-end and year-end close, contributing hands‑on while providing coaching and guidance to junior staff
• Own key close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger review, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues
• Manage core accounting areas such as fixed assets, intercompany, inventory, revenue, AR/AP, cash, and foreign currency
• Analyze account balances and variances, prepare financial statements and management reports, and share insights with finance leadership and cross-functional partners
• Serve as an escalation point for complex accounting questions and a go‑to resource for the ERP system
• Improve close processes, document procedures, and strengthen internal controls
• Support audits, system integrations, and other special projects as they arise
• Collaborate with other internal groups to support business goals
• Cross‑train across the accounting function and perform other duties as assigned
